I would suggest a gameboy advance. The nintendo DS is good but is dangerous for younger children. Also you can end up spending a lot of money on missing stylus’. The Wii isn’t a good resommendation for a 5 year old because they can tend to take the movement to exagerations and possibly break something or injure themselves.

I’m a Technical Illustrator for a robotics company – I basically make images that show how to assemble robot parts. I make my own hours, so long as they equal 40 at the end of the week.

Like others said, it doesn’t matter what your career is, so long as you can make time for your hobby. Games have mass appeal, and so they attract individuals from all backgrounds and interests.

It used to be rediculous but nowadays, I think the video games are coming to their senses. Look at Resident Evil 4- Ada Wong is very much a strong character. Her character is much stronger than her looks but that is by no means saying she’s ugly.

if hes 5 get him a wii or nintendo ds. they have appropriate games for a 5 yeard old, and if u wanna splurge on a mature rated game (wii) do so for yourself. the wii would be a gift for anyone pretty much. a ds is handheld, and since hes five, it would be easier for him to lose. i say get him a wii. it will ahve games more suited ofr him.

Most female characters do look impossibly gorgeous and unrealistic, but then again so do most of the male characters. The female characters tend to be large breasted, really thin, and have perfectly symmetrical faces. Most male characters are huge, ruggedly handsome, and have massive muscles. Either way- video game characters are for the most part incredibly fake.
There are a few female characters that are strong (physically and mentally)- Alyx Vance from Half-Life, Samus from Metroid, Princess Zelda, and Jade from Beyond Good And Evil. These are the type of female characters I love to see in games. They are attractive ( a couple of them are actually very human and normal looking) and they are ass kickers.
The ones I’m tired of seeing are the Princess Peach types- can’t take care of themselves and are always in need of rescue. Or the ones that run around in painfully tight clothing and thongs riding up their behinds. Those are annoying.
As long as a female character is intelligent and can hold her own in battle I don’t have a problem with her looking cute, but not slutty and trashy.
